Father’s Day Ollie Bear Picnic
If you go to the edge of the Salish Sea, you’ll be in for a surprise…
Celebrate Father’s Day with an Ollie Bear Picnic on the edge of the Salish Sea at the Oak Bay Beach Hotel.
Perfect for families of any size, each booking includes a keepsake picnic blanket (one per family) to set up throughout the gardens, a buffet picnic lunch, and a selection of ice cream. The Ollie Bear Picnic will also include a themed photo booth, face painting, and a visit by the Oak Bay Fire Department and their fire engine.
Ollie Bears – the hotel’s plush, collectable mascot, whose tradition was carried over from the old hotel to the new, will be available for purchase, with a portion of proceeds being donated to the hotel’s charity of choice, the David Foster Foundation.
The David Foster Foundation supports the non-medical expenses of Canadian families with children undergoing life-saving pediatric organ transplants. Since 2012, the Oak Bay Beach Hotel has financially supported the David Foster Foundation using a portion of the proceeds from each ticket sold and event held in the hotel’s David Foster Foundation Theatre.
For adult children, treat dad to a drink!
The Snug pub will be featuring bombers (22 oz. bottles) of Driftwood Pilsner Arcus and the popular Snug burger throughout the day.
