Christmas and Winter Holiday events return to the Oak Bay Beach Hotel for the 2023 festive season! Returning to the Hotel’s calendar is their iconic Holiday Movie Nights, Christmas Day Brunch, Breakfast with Santa, Lobby Lounge, and annual New Year’s Eve Dinner. The Oak Bay Beach Hotel is sure to be the perfect antidote for any stress the holiday rush may bring, both for guests and locals alike.
Breakfast with Santa | December 3, 10, 23
He’s making a list and coming to the Oak Bay Beach Hotel to check it twice. This buffet brunch service will include house-made cookie decorating, a visit from Mr. Claus himself, as well as on-site photo printing by Four Frames Photo Booth to bring the merry memories home.
Holiday Movie Nights | December 5, 6, 12, 13, 19, 20, 26, 27
Holiday Movie Nights return to the Oak Bay Beach Hotel, where guests will enjoy dinner in FARO Pizza, followed by a favourite holiday film in our David Foster Foundation Theatre and buttered popcorn. Our concession will also be available for beverage service during the film.
Guests can choose from a variety of modern or classic holiday films to attend, including:
Elf, A Christmas Story, A White Christmas, Home Alone, Miracle on 34 Street, National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, Die Hard, and It’s A Wonderful Life.

The hugely popular Christmas Day Brunch at the Oak Bay Beach Hotel returns! Join us in the Dining Room and Grand Lobby as we celebrate Christmas Day with an iconic breakfast experience. This lavish brunch dining experience includes an omelet station and carving station with all the works, created by Executive Chef Kreg Graham.
Christmas Dinner | December 25
Start a new family tradition or continue an old one by joining us for Christmas Dinner served in The Snug Pub or our intimate seaside Dining Room.
Reservations currently accepted for in-house hotel guests only until December 1, 2023.

Christmas Day at FARO Handcrafted Pizza and Tasting Room
FARO will provide regular Café Service from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Guests are encouraged to make reservations for Lunch and Dinner Service from 11:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Special holiday features will be available on December 25.
Annual New Year’s Eve Dinner | December 31
Celebrate the last evening of the year with our New Year’s Eve Dinner. Guests are invited to join Executive Chef Kreg Graham as he presents and pours his favourite wines from the past year, inspired by our Winemaker’s Dinner Series. Beginning with a toast of locally sourced sparkling wine, the evening will feature a 5 course tasting menu, each wine thoughtfully paired with a different culinary delight using locally sourced ingredients. Accompanied by a live jazz band, each guest will receive a take home gift at the end of the evening.
